Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV
There’s a school of thought in today’s society that there are many ways to God. Some people believe that God is in each person. Others, that God is in everything even nature…
There are so many persons touting that Jesus is not the only way to salvation.
As Christians we have to ask the hard questions: what is truth? What do I believe?
Do we believe that our actions save us or do we believe that salvation can only come from outside ourselves in the person of Christ?
If you think about it, this is an issue similar to that which was experienced by the church in Galatia in Paul’s day. They had heard the word that Paul had given them and they believed that Jesus was their Savior. Yet in a very short time they were almost drawn away from the faith.
We may look at that church and scoff that their faith was shallow but truly, are we any different? If someone were to come and offer us an alternative mean to salvation what would we do? Would we turn our backs on what we had come to believe as truth or would we hold fast to the faith?
What do you define as truth?

Isn’t it interesting that when David wished for the wings of a dove the thing he wanted most was to be at rest?
