Challenge Accepted

Challenge Accepted: Write 31 Days 2017. This year we will be participating in the Five Minutes of Free Writes challenge as wellImage courtesy of Pixabay

Two years ago I accepted the first challenge to write every day for 31 days. It was an experience that taught me many things.

I learnt how to write under the pressure of a promise made to myself. I had to learn how to create blog graphics and publish things on my blog.

Mostly, I learnt a lot about marriage through the medium of God’s word. I had no idea that the Bible had so much to say on the topic until 2015. You can read that series here.

This year I am at a different place in my life and writing isn’t as easy as it was then but still, the urge is there so write 31 days I must. I’ve decided to combine two things at once.

I always wanted to actively participate in the five minute Friday free writes. This is basically where you receive a prompt  and then you write on that topic for five minutes. No more. No less. Easy, right?

Well, we’ll see. Starting October 1, I’ll be posting something on the blog every day hope to see you there!
