It's Release Day! My new book Through God's Eyes: Marriage Lessons for Women is now available in stores.
What do we really know about marriage? Is it just about the happily ever after?
We find Mr. Right, a nice venue, a ring, a beautiful dress and a pair of tux. We promise “till death do us part”. If it’s that simple, why do so many marriages end in divorce? Could it be that we’re looking at marriage from the wrong perspective?
Through God’s Eyes: Marriage Lessons for Women is a Bible study that invites you to:
As you study the biblical couples in Through God’s Eyes: Marriage Lessons for Women, you learn what God intended (and did not intend) for marriage.
“I am totally smitten with Aminata’s way of breaking up large marriage issues into bite-sized pieces, and I especially like how she has journal prompts at the end of each section. It really makes it feel less daunting, particularly when working through a personal and current marriage issue. Each chapter is like a mini-sermon, with several biblical references to help draw out the meaning.
Her ability to draw context clues and actually use previous verses for additional context really brings this marriage study up a notch. I have a really hard time with studies that look at one passage as the “proof” of meaning, and then they move on. Aminata does not do that; she instead draws on additional biblical AND historical context to discuss a particular meaning. Great format and easy to follow—but the prompts aren’t always easy which is great!”

It is my pleasure to recommend Through God's Eyes: Marriage Lessons for Women as a must-read for women who want to be godly wives. The comparison and co-relation with women and wives in the Bible are on point and helps put into perspective what we experience in a relationship and how God wants us to behave.
I also recommend this book for men. It is a good resource for the husband who wants to walk in the glory of God and who wishes to better understand, treat and appreciate their wives for who they are. This book helps us as men to take a look at how a woman thinks, feels and perceives (we get to see marriage through their eyes). Our wives are a part of us, and we must treasure them (1 Peter 3:7).
This book is a great, short read—read it together or in your own private time where both spouses can gain something so they can better love each other and get closer to the mind of God on his intentions and expectations for marriage.
